I gave it up long ago as too mes...Be careful dying! I gave it up long ago as too messy. I would recommend using buckets outside instead of your washer inside....but maybe that's just me. And it's been sooooo long that maybe things have changed for the better somehow?<br /><br />It does sound like a fun project. I would tie the curtains at the top of where you want the lightest color, then dip the rest in the bucket. <br /><br />Then repeat a bit farther down for the darker color after the lighter color(s) are done and dried.<br /><br />Did you ask for my advice?
